Obituary of Inez "Dandridge" Chaplin
Mrs. Inez "Dandridge" Chaplin RAVENEL, SC - Mrs. Inez W. (Dandridge) Chaplin, of Ravenel, South Carolina, born on March 25, 1929 in Osborne, South Carolina, to the late Mattie Orrie Bunton and John Franklin, passed away at age 89 on November 17, 2018 in Charleston, South Carolina. She graduated from St. Paul's High School. She was a Rural Mail Carrier for the United States Postal Service until retiring in 1996. She was the loving wife of the late Glenn S. Chaplin Sr.. She was preceded in death by her son, Glenn (Bubba) Chaplin Jr.; brothers, Eugene, Arthur, Ralph and Junior Dandridge; and sisters, Margaret Driggers, Meryle Fender, Johnnie Mae Caddin, and Ruth (Pop) Williamson. She is survived by her son, Kenneth Chaplin and Wife Donna; daughters, Deborah Warren, Dale Hendricks, and Penny Allen; and sisters, Nina Webster and Norine Richter. Inez had 13 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren. She had a passion for reading the bible and great love for her family and grandchildern. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Ravenel and active participant in the Womens Mission Union (WMU). She was a past Matron of Carolina 25, Order of the Eastern Star. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in her honor to the First Baptist Church of Ravenel window fund. Friends and family are welcome to attend the visitation on Tuesday, November 20 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at First Baptist Church of Ravenel. The funeral service will take place on Wednesday, November 21 at 1:00pm at First Baptist Church of Ravenel, 5987 Highway 165.
