Obituary of Linda Marie West

Linda Marie West, age 70, of Charleston, SC, passed away on March 11, 2015. Linda was born in Keokuk, Iowa on March 29th, 1944, a daughter of Joseph Francis Clark and Shirley Mary Percival. Linda was a stay at home housewife. She loved crafting, quilts, sewing, and her favorite hobby was drawing and painting. She enjoyed all her extra time with her Grandchildren and Great Grandchildren. LInda is survived by Husband David E. West, Daughter Shirley M. Blade and Husband Tracii Blade, Daughter Catherine E. Saxton and Husband Shawn Saxton, Grandchildren Micheal Lockett, Christopher Lockett Shane Saxton, Melissa Saxton, Laura Justice, Nicholas Griffiths, Eric Blade, Shane Blade, Nina Griffiths, Wesley Blade and Brother Gary Percival and many nieces, nephews, great grandchildren. Linda is preceded in death by Father Joseph Francis Clark, Mother Shirley M Percival, Brother Jack Percival, and her Aunt Nina. In lieu of flowers donations may be given to the liverfoundation.org or any Cancer Foundation of choice this would have been her wishes. There will be no funeral at her request. There will be a balloon release for her on her birthday March 29th to celebrate her life and birthday. Your our hero, you never second guessed yourself and taught us to stand tall no matter what. You are our inspiration to keep going no matter how hard it may seem. You always said, “It always gets better”. We love you very much and you have earned your Angel Wings to be with the Lord.
