My sincere condolences to the Troyer family. I know this is a difficult time for the family and I pray God continues to comfort the family during this time of bereavement. May the many cherished and fond memories of Thomas continue to comfort his family and friends. A comforting thought to keep in mind is at Isaiah 25:8 "He (GOD) will swallow up death forever, and the Sovereign Lord Jehovah will wipe away the tears from all faces." May you all have calming thoughts during this time.

What a life well lived in service to the Lord! Please accept my deepest sympathy to the family he has left behind, but what a comfort to know he walks with Jesus now for eternity.

The Charleston Gospel Choir membership extends our heartfelt and sincere condolences to Mrs. Cindy Troyer, his daughter (and our choir member) Kelly Troyer, the children (Doug and Ryan) and grand children we have never met. We will miss Tom's smile, friendship, kindness and the unwavering support he gave to the choir. Tom did not support the choir to garner public acknowledgement he did so because he was a man of God who felt our mission of harmony and diversity was inline with the way in which he lived his life. His support included the donation of equipment (a set of choral risers he and Mrs. Troyer purchased and donated to the Charleston Gospel Choir in 2016), he utilized his engineering skills to be the official Gospel Choir 'handy man' fixing our podium, donating tools for the upkeep of the risers and designing apparatus's to transport the risers. The Charleston Gospel Choir (Lee Pringle, Founder in particular) will treasure the smile on Tom's face at the conclusion of our 19th Annual Gospel Christmas performance last year. We had no idea our Saturday, December 1, 2018, performance would be the last time we lifted his musical spirit and saw his smile. Rest in peace our dear friend you will be missed but not forgotten. Signed, The Charleston Gospel Choir Membership.
