To the Wife & Family of Joey Selbee -
I met Joey when I was only15 years old in Moncks Corner, South Carolina. That was over 35 years ago. We have always kept in touch periodically and I most recently wished him a Happy New Year on Facebook.
My family has always loved and adored Joey as part of our family. He was one of the sweetest people I have ever known. Also extremely funny! His sense of humor would sneak up on you. Makes me smile just thinking about him. I'll never forget the time he gave me a ride to the Beach. We were driving along (he must have been 18 or 19 years old). He was trying to act all "cool" and bobbing his head to the Music, looked over to talk to me and almost ran into the back of a huge Truck carrying long logs hanging off the back. We were almost decapitated ... ha ha. He slammed on the breaks (didn't look so cool anymore) and I busted laughing. He finally started laughing too and we couldn't stop. It is making me smile now as I type this.
I am so sorry for your loss. I know he will be missed dearly. I wish I could attend the services for him, but I just found out yesterday about his unexpected passing. I am so sad.
Heaven's gain is everyone who knew hims Loss.
May your wonderful memories of this dear Man and friend of mine bring you comfort as you grieve the loss of your loved one.
God Bless,
Roxanne Jambor
