Obituary of Michael Allen Frances Dufour

Michael was born on December 18, 1956 in Charleston SC, son of Robert and Dolores (Mathys) Dufour. He was educated at Bishop England. Michael worked as a tailor for Alterations by Dolores in North Charleston. Michael also known as “Buddha” enjoyed fishing, building and repairing things, the fair, Christmas lights, collecting antiques and anything Egyptian, and gardening. He also enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his daughter. Survivors include his mother, Dolores Dufour of North Charleston, his wife Tara Goldstein of Goose Creek, his daughter Kalie Ann Goldstein Dufour of Goose Creek, his brothers Jerry Francis, Paul Ray Francis, Mark Clark of SC, uncle Michael Kelly, and his sisters Mary Francis Goodale and Pamela Bosshart of SC. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and great nieces and nephews. He is predeceased by his father Robert Dufour, his granddaughter Khloe Ann Paul, his brothers Sebastian Clayton Francis Jr and John Anthony Dufour. A memorial service will be held Wednesday January 24, 2018 from 2-3pm at Simplicity Lowcountry Cremation and Burial Services, located at 7475 Peppermill Parkway- Ste.E , North Charleston Sc 29418 ; phone number 843-767-8057.
