Obituary of Joe Elford Foster

Joe Elford Foster, 84, of Goose Creek entered into the kingdom of the Lord on Tuesday December 30th 2014. Joe honorably served his country in the US Navy, the Naval Reserves and he was a mechanical engineer with degrees in electrical and plumbing, also. He loved people and everyone he met became a friend. He is survived by his wife, Ann Bates Foster, his daughter Nancy (Michael) Hodge, his two sons Bill ( Lori) Foster and Jody (Angie) Foster and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He leaves a void in many lives with his passing. The funeral service will take place Saturday January 2nd 2015 at First Baptist Church of North Charleston. Visitation will take place an hour prior to the service. Interment will follow at the Carolina Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Alzheimers Foundation of America. Arrangements are by Simplicity Lowcountry Cremation & Burial Services, North Charleston, SC.
