Obituary of Farrell Evans

Farrell Evans, a veteran of the United States Army, passed away on Saturday, October 4, 2014. He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Betty Jo Evans, daughter Cindy Sexton (Wayne) of Goose Creek, SC, 3 grandchildren: Kristy Steenberg of Goose Creek, Jamie Bigham of Connecticut, Brandon Bigham of Laurens, SC, and 2 great-grandchildren: Alexis & Caila Steenberg of Goose Creek, SC. Mr. Evans is also survived by his brother, Alton Evans (Victoria) and sisters Tina Reddick and Jonelle Snodgrass. He is the son of the late Floyd Evans and Verna Boyln Evans, and stepmom Asalee Evans. Mr. Evans was born on November 10, 1938 in Hemingway, SC. He was retired from the maintenance division of Lockheed. A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 10, 2014 at 2:00pm at First Pentecostal Holiness Church of Goose Creek, 133 St. James Ave, Goose Creek, SC. A visit with the family will precede the memorial service at 1:30pm. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Church Building Fund.
