Obituary of James Virgil Lamb

James Virgil Lamb Sr., 89, of Bonneau, South Carolina, husband of Mary S. Lamb, entered into eternal rest at his home on July 21, 2014. The family will receive friends from 5 P.M. – 7 P.M. on Thursday, July 24, 2014 at Simplicity Lowcountry Cremation & Burial Services, 7475 Peppermill Parkway, Suite E, North Charleston, SC. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in honor of Virgil to Lutheran Hospice, 1885 Rifle Range Road, Suite 46, Mt. Pleasant, SC 29464. Virgil was born in St. Stephens, South Carolina on February 1st, 1925, son of the late Henry Virgil Lamb and Dora Lamb. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army, retired from Global Associates and former owner of Lamb’s Barber Shop. Surviving in addition to his wife Mary S. Lamb are his brother Jack Lamb and his wife Shirley; sons, Donald Eugene Lamb and James Virgil Lamb Jr; his grandchildren, James Virgil Lamb III & spouse Natasha Lamb, Jason Edward Lamb and spouse Dani Lamb, Rebecca Ellen Alcorn and spouse Campbell Alcorn and Justin Daniel Lamb; his great grandchildren; Auburn Lamb, Courtney Lamb, Tyler Lamb, Ashton Lamb, Stewart Alcorn and Pearl Alcorn.
