Obituary of Barbara Roberts Moore

Barbara Roberts Moore, 78, of Moncks Corner, wife of Robert Moore, died Saturday, May 10, 2014. A visitation will be held at 1:00pm on Wednesday, May 14, 2014, at Northwood Church, 2600 N. Main Street, Summerville, SC. The funeral will follow at 2:00pm at the same location. Burial will be private. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the National Kidney Foundation, www.kidney.org or Northwood Church, www.wearenorthwood.com. Mrs. Moore was born November 13, 1935 in Georgetown County, SC, a daughter of the late Daniel Lebonnie Roberts and Elizabeth Jean Allen Roberts. She was a proud and doting stay-at-home mother for many years. After her children were older, she went back to school to later become a pediatric LPN. She was loved dearly and will be greatly missed. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her children, Edwin Orr, Donna Wenburg, Bruce Orr, Kenneth Orr, and Cynthia Clements, brother, Thomas Roberts, 13 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Arrangements are by Simplicity Lowcountry Cremation & Burial Services, North Charleston.
