Obituary of Betty Carter Robinson

It is with great sadness that we, the children of Betty Carter Robinson inform you of the passing of our beloved mother. Betty Carter Robinson departed this life on April 13, 2014 at Trident Medical Center after a battle with a long debilitating illness surrounded by her loved ones. She was the daughter of Archie Carter and Carrie Wyndham Densmore. She was the widow of Willie Junior Gordon. She was preceded in death by 4 brothers and 3 sisters as well as a son William “Bill” Ross. She is survived by 4 daughters, Peggy Wallace of Ladson, SC, Denise Ross of Texas, Audrey Dewey of New York, Julie Gordon of Ladson, SC and 1 son Don Huffer of Ladson, SC. She had 14 grandchildren, Bo and Karri of Ladson, SC, Michael of Virginia, Jennifer and Nicholas of Texas, Daniel, Nicholas, Christopher and Meagan of Ladson, Sc Brittany, Jake, Natasha, and Bo of New York as well as 10 Great-grand children. She was a graduate of MUSC School of Nursing, a retired Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) with over 35 years experience with specialized training. She will be sadly missed by family and friends. All are invited to attend a celebration of her life at Simplicity Lowcountry Cremation & Burial Services at: 7475 Pepper Mill Parkway North Charleston, SC on Thursday April 17, 2014 from 6:00pm – 8:00pm. In Lieu of flowers please make donations in her name to the COPD Foundation online, The American Heart Association, or Odyssey Hospice of Charleston.
