Obituary of Alan Youtsey

Alan Joseph Youtsey, 54, of North Charleston, South Carolina passed away December 26th of 2017. Alan was born October 17, 1963 in Stephenville, Newfoundland, Canada. He was the son of the late Orval Youtsey and Mary C. Young Grooms. He attended Summerville schools. He was a construction worker by trade. He enjoyed fishing and wildlife. Alan never met a stranger. He is survived by his sister, Pamela Youtsey Huckabee of Summerville. His brother Jimmy (Heber) Youtsey of Ladson. His nieces: Stacy Young of Summerville, Heather (Mike) Carine of North Charleston, Tiffany (Eric) Banks of Greensboro, NC and Brook Youtsey of Summerville. His nephews: James Youtsey of Japan, Ryan Youtsey of Ladson, Adam Youtsey of Summerville and several great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wonderful step-father, Cecil M. Grooms and his brother, Dwayne T. Youtsey. The family of Alan Joseph Youtsey would like to thank the staff in the ICU unit at MUSC for the wonderful care and services provided to him. The memorial service will be private.
