Obituary of Glenn J. Serra

Glenn J. Serra, age 61, resident of Moncks Corner for 11 years, passed unexpectedly on November 10. 2016 at Roper Hospital in Charleston. Glenn had recently retired from IHG (InterContinental Hotels Group) where he worked as a Sales Associate for 10 years. He was an avid photographer and computer geek, and he took many professional photos for IHG events. Glenn grew up and lived for many years in Stratford and Bridgeport, CT where he worked for Xerox Corporation as a technician. He loved living in Moncks Corner and exploring the many local attractions and parks, especially Mepkin Abbey. He is survived by his brother Bryan and family, his sister Lynne, and former wife Lorna. A memorial service will be held on December 5, from 12-2 at Simplicity Lowcountry in North Charleston.
