"Ms. Christine" was a former patient and new friend. We had many good visits during which she shared her memories. Her best times were when she was raising her kids. I regret not being able to visit her more in the months prior to her passing. She was a passionate lady that will be missed. May her spirit carry on in those that loved her. My condolences to the family.

I send my love to all the family & pray for strength for each one of you as you go through the healing process as you deal with the loss of your mother. Mrs. Walters was an amazing woman with a great set of values & morals. I can definitely say I admired the mother she was to her kids and the example she showed to others as a respectful woman.

I was brought into Mrs. Walters' life, via marriage, about 18 years ago. I believe that I was/am somewhat of an "acquired taste" but I have always felt that Mrs. Walters accepted me and allowed me to be who I was, unfiltered and raw. I loved her for that and for our relationship not being at all like the typical mother-in-law to son-in-law paradigm. I genuinely enjoyed spending time with her and I greatly will miss our discussions where I would try to make her laugh and she would obligingly accommodate. On the one hand, I am filled with sorrow with the belief that she departed our life way too early but on the other hand, I am comforted by the fact that she was met at her destination by her Savior.
Mrs. Walters, I have never thanked you for the wonderful daughter you raised and for all of the time and effort expended doing so. Thank you for that and for allowing me to participate in you life and family. Know that I will love your daughter and care for your grandchildren to the best of my ability and that I will even try to hug and kiss them extra, just for you. Rest in peace knowing that even though you are no longer here to worry and care for them, I will carry those burdens for you.
Goodbye, Mrs. Walters.
Please wait
