I remember Mandy (my cousin) as a bright, beautiful girl who was lit within. I also remember, as a young college student, depositing myself at my aunt and uncle's house for spring break just after she was born. I slept on the bed right next to her crib and got my first exposure to newborn sleep habits!
Five years later, my first Air Force flying assignment was in Charleston and I was able to spend time with Mandy and Carrie as little girls. We took rides in my car, went to get ice cream and one year I took them onto the Air Force Base for the Christmas party. Santa arrived in a big airplane and brought them each a present, which they had picked out at the toy store during a previous visit. Mandy's was a big red fire truck, and she was thrilled. For her birthday, I wrapped up a box of little "Buff Puffs" for her very own, just like the ones I used. This was big girl stuff, and a very big deal. She held them up, then came and gave me a big hug.
I wish I could have helped Mandy and her family with the challenges that came with her adulthood, but I know that she is now a very bright light in heaven and will help us all to find our way as we navigate our lives without her. Peace and love be with all of you today and always.
Love,
Kristi

Mandy and I were classmates since age 5. We went through all of school together and both became nurses. Mandy was a beautiful, smart, and a fun loving girl. I have so many fun memories with her and I discovering life. She always found a way to make me smile, whether that be with a smile, snarky comment, or just a simple eye roll. Her sarcasm always lightened the mood. When I think of the University of South Carolina, I think of Mandy and all the memories we made there in the mist of getting an education. Even though I did not attend USC, Mandy and I found a way to take a break from nursing school and enjoy the life of being a 20 something college student. We eat crap food together, stayed up late, listened to inappropriate rap music, and enjoyed many tailgating experiences. I can’t imagine growing up without her and becoming who I am without thinking of Mandy. Thanks for all the love, stress relief, and memories Mandy! Rest easy, Gale!

My name is Carolyn Earhart, I have known Mandy and Carrie for as long as I can remember back, we pretty much grew up together. I don't have a memory that doesn't include one of them, Carrie was always my best friend, Mandy was like an older sister to me. I always looked up to her. She was so smart, and caring, such a beautiful person inside and out, she would give you the shirt of her back if you needed it. I always remember leaving West Ashley High riding in the back of Mandy's Honda Accord, we though we were too cool! In high school Mandy and I also played on a soccer team together, she was a great soccer player, those were fun times! She was such an amazing person, she had the world at the tip of her fingers! Her smile could light up a room and her laugh was contagious! I remember when we all moved into her condo together, such good times we had there! I will never forget all the time I got to spend with Mandy, her and I had a special bond. I always loved her like family, Mandy will be missed by so many, she lived an amazing life! I am praying for the Robinson's through this very difficult time! Rest east, sweet Mandy, until we meet again in heaven, please watch over Carrie, her boys, your Mom, Dad, and you sweet boy Damen!

We had so many great times together. Thank you for putting up with your Little Sisters friend. I know we drove you crazy wanting rides and wanting to be older and cool like you. One time I will never forget with you was when we went to Folly Beach. We finally found a parking spot and then when we came back you had a ticket on your window. It was for parking in front of a fire hydrant. You were so mad and we should have known something was up, it was a prime spot. We found it after driving around for what seemed like forever .To this day every time I see a fire hydrant spot open I think of you. I will always remember the great times we all had together.
Love,
Sara

Mandy was my best friend growing up, we spent nearly every day of summer together. We loved to ride our bikes to the pool, or spend the day making up gymnastics routines. We stayed in touch over the years, no matter how much time had past, we could pick up right where we left off. I am so thankful for the time i got to spend with her just 2 weeks ago. I always thought she was the coolest. She was so beautiful, inside and out. I will cherish the memories i am lucky enough to have. She will always be, Mandy my best friend who lived down the street. I send all my love to Jim, Carol and my sweet dear Carrie

Love surrounded Mandy! When you met her you fell in love with her not bc of her outside beauty but her inside beauty! Her laugh was contagious! I will never forget when a group of older girls didn’t like me, Mandy new them and bc they respected her she told them that is my lil lil sister be nice to her and keep her safe, they did! She would defend anyone that needed it! She took care of the sick and weak! She loved to sing she loved to dance growing up! She loved soccer along with her sister Carrie! She loved animals, and she was kind to everyone she met, even if they didn’t deserve her kindness! These memories will stay in my heart forever!
