Obituary of Kenneth Mays

Kenneth Lloyd Mays ,  66 , of Goose Creek, passed away Friday June 7, 2019.  He was born on March 19, 1953, in Muncie, Indiana, to Lloyd Burdell Davis and Ella Bell Corrine (Miller) Davis.

DECEDENT ADDITIONAL INFO- Upon graduating high school, Ken volunteered for the US Coast Guard. After 23 years of service he was honorably discharged as a Chief Mechanical Technician. Once retired he became long haul driver and enjoyed seeing the country. He also enjoyed working in the yard, riding his CanAm (Spidey) and especially spending time with his grandchildren, family & friends. Ken was a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather. He will always be remembered as a loving and devoted husband to Pam for 41 years.

Kenneth  is survived by his wife, Pam Mays; his son Justin; granddaughter, Justice; great grandchildren Audreyann, Clayton Lloyd, and Jonah. His Mother Ella and her husband James. His brothers Steven and wife Heidi, Cedric and wife Lula, Terry, and Larry. And his sisters Cheryl and husband Carl, Janet, Virginia and husband Dewey, and Marjorie. Multiple nieces, nephews and friends.

In addition to his father,Lloyd Burdell Daves, Kenneth was preceded in death by his step-father, Sellers Mays;

A memorial service will be held Friday, June 14th from 5:00 - 7:00 at Simplicity: Lowcountry Cremation and Burial Services- Ladson Chapel
