Obituary of Patsy Jane Blatchford

                Patsy Jane Blatchford, born May 19th, 1952 in Dangerfield, Texas was daughter of Billy Joe Stevens(1928-1965) and Billie Ruth Boyd(1930-1958) entered into eternal rest on Sunday, June 16th, 2019. Patsy “PJ” was preceded in death by her sweetheart Melvin Flory, brother Jimmy Stevens, sister Peggy Smoak and grandmother Ruth Boyd.

                PJ was a talented seamstress, artisan, gardener and most of all devoted mother, grandmother and friend. She took pride in working for Carolina Services where her every “brush stroke” and “sparkle” made the world more beautiful. Her roots were planted in Texas and her spirit in the mountains of North Carolina.

                PJ will be sadly missed by her sons Brandon Lee Blatchford, Joel Jason Blatchford(Andi Blatchford) of Ladson; sisters Trisha Murphy(Jimmy Murphy)of Cottageville, Lesa Spradley of Texas; and her great uncle Gene Boyd(Carol Boyd) of Texas. She is further survived by her grandchildren, nieces, nephew, other relatives and friends.

                Celebration of Life will be held from 6pm-8pm(with a time to for family to share and a prayer at 7pm) on Friday, June 21,2019 at Simplicity Lowcountry located at 281 Treeland Drive, Suite C, Ladson, SC, 29456.
