Obituary of Stanley Shaw

Stanley Edward Shaw, 67, of Hanahan, South Carolina passed away December 18, 2017 peacefully, in the presence of his family. He was born on January 3, 1950 in Great Falls, Montana to Vincent and Lily (Gay) Shaw. Stanley is a United States Army Veteran. He served during the Vietnam War and was stationed in Okinawa, Japan. Stanley had a passion and talent for woodworking, but his main passion was witnessing the word of God to others. Stanley is survived by his sons, Bryan (Tracy) of Goose Creek, Jason of Goose Creek, and Shaun (Cathy) Shaw of Hanahan; sistersw, Nancy Simmons and Bonnie Motichka; brother, Timmy Wilkinson; and four grandchildren, Daniel, Megan, Brenden, and Hollie Shaw. He was preceded in death by his son, Jeffery Shaw; and siblings. A memorial service will be held Friday, December 22, from 3:00 – 4:00 PM at Simplicity Lowcountry Cremation and Burial Services (281 Treeland Drive, Ladson, SC 29456).
