Dear family,
Ken was a good friend from the time he moved to Bridlemile in Portland, OR. He was such a kind and fun guy. We went to grade school and high school together and had many laughs both at school and in the neighborhood.
His sense of humor made us all smile and he was so much fun to be around. In high school, we were in speech seminar together where we were asked to write and share an ad for a new product. Ken’s was hysterical. His ad was for Oh So Soggy Cereal. He went on and on about how much time it would save at breakfast by being soggy even before adding milk.
Another great memory was when he took me to the Destruction Derby at the Jantzen Beach raceway. We sat there all afternoon rooting for our chosen cars to crush the other poor cars. Of course, it was a very sunny day and we both returned home with one side of our faces bright red while the other side was pasty white.
Ken was always a gentleman and just a great guy.
I pray that God will hold you in his arms as you grieve Kens passing. He will be remembered fondly by many.
