Obituary of Tammy R Winklepleck

Tammy R. (Jacoby) Winklepleck, 56, of Goose Creek, SC, passed away on August 30, 2019.

The memorial service will be held at 6:00 pm Friday, September 13, 2019, at Goose Creek United Methodist Church, 142 Red Bank Road, Goose Creek, SC  29445.

Tammy was born in Charleston, SC, on October 4, 1962, a daughter of Ronald G. Jacoby and Delores (Zabka) Jacoby.

Tammy was a Veteran for the United States Air Force.  She owned and operated Veteran’s Lawn Care.  She enjoyed spending time with her family and helping others.  She was a member of Goose Creek United Methodist Church.   Tammy was also actively involved with the Disabled American Vets (DAV), where she volunteered over 100 hours of service. 

Tammy is survived by her husband, David M. Winklepleck, her parents Ronald and Delores Jacoby, two daughters, Kristina Ingram (John) and Patricia Hicks (Chris); five grandchildren, Ashton Ingram, Zoe Ingram, Zach Hicks, Jason Hicks and Ryan Hicks all of Goose Creek, SC; one brother, David Jacoby (Sharon) of White Marsh, MD; one sister, Michele (Jacoby) Warner of Hanahan, SC; one nephew, Brian Warner of Savannah, GA; five nieces, Sarah Reed (Chris) of Racine, WI, Melissa Saukas and Kayla Warner (Natalie) both of Hanahan, SC, Jennifer Miller of Surfside Beach, SC and Shannon Miller of Goose Creek, SC; and other family and friends.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Daniel R. Jacoby.

Funeral arrangements are by Simplicity Lowcountry Crematory and Memorial Services.
