Obituary of Raymond Anthony Mareno

Ray Mareno of Moncks Corner, South Carolina, died Tuesday Feb 27 at home following a long illness. He was 71. He was born in Swissvale, Pa, in 1941. He worked as auto mechanic and in the aquatic control business. He was an avid fisherman, hunter and gardener. Ray doted on his grandchildren. He wanted to teach everyone to be a better fisherman. Ray was preceded in death by his parents Jack and Margaret Mareno and sister Marlene. He is survived by his wife,Sandra, sons Raymond and Christopher Mareno of Pennsylvania; daughters Mary Tabler, Aventura,Florida; and Barbara Tabler of Sunrise, Florida;sons Matthew Tabler of Moncks Corner,South Carolina, and Ralph Tabler and his wife, SuKyong, of El Paso,Texas, and 5 grandchildren: Raymond, Shawna, Jasmine, Cristina, and Samuel. His loving family included his sisters, Peggy Page of North Palm Beach, Florida, of Pittsburgh, PA, and Bernadette Seipel and brother, Richard of Penn Hills, Pennsylvania.. Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Simplicity Funeral Home. A Memorial Service will be held at St Michael Lutheran Church in Moncks Corner at 2:00 PM Saturday.
