For Azaline and Elaine: I am so sorry for the loss of your mother. I will surely miss her beautiful smile and the many wonderful conversations we had together. While caring for your mother, I had grown really close to her as if she were my own grandmother. I will miss her fussing over me not eating while I was working, and the many times she shared her fried chicken with me. I can remember the day when she wanted me to try some chicken feet that was cooked and brought to her. I told her “I don’t want to eat chicken feet, they are for chickens to walk with not eating.” This coming from a girl raised in the north. She just laughed and laughed. Though I was not around for her final departure to let her know how much I loved her, she knew. Your mother was always with me in my heart and thoughts. Now she is an angel watching over all of us that loved her. Ms. Sarah, I will never forget you and I will always love you!
Love You Always,
Dina (your nurse)
