Obituary of Linda Marie Burnett

Linda Marie Burnett, 62, of Ladson, South Carolina passed on November 12, 2019 in Charleston, South Carolina. She was born on February 3, 1957, in Suffern, New York. She was a bookkeeper, an award winning Tupperware sales manager, and an aspiring math teacher. Linda also started a Girl Scout troop for her community and led it for several years, was a dedicated member of the Charleston Decorative Painting Chapter, and an outstanding homemaker, wife, and mother. She attended the Goose Creek United Methodist Church and was a former Sunday school teacher at her previous church. 

She is survived by her husband Ralph Troy Burnett, one son Joseph Demelis and daughter-in-law Rebecca Demelis, two daughters Tera Burnett and Danielle Burnett, three grandchildren Damien Demelis, Kohen Demelis, and Serena Paige Demelis. Linda is also survived by one brother and sister-in-law George and Diane Wanamaker and their family.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at Goose Creek United Methodist Church on Red Bank Road, Goose Creek, SC with Rev. Debra Dowdle officiating. A celebration of life will be held on February 1, 2020 in Charleston, SC.
