Obituary of Herbert William Mizzell Jr

          Herbert William Mizzell Jr, 46 ,of Summerville SC, passed away in his sleep after a prolonged illness on November 30, 2019.  A service for a final farewell will be held December 7, 2019 at 2:00 pm at Simplicity Lowcountry Cremation & Burial Service in Ladson, SC at 281 Treeland Drive Ladson SC 29456. Interment will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, the family asks that memorials be made in honor of Herbie to the Charleston Chapter of Biker against Bullies USA or Charleston Animal Society.

          Herbie was born  January 2, 1973 in Charleston, SC, the son of Herbert W Mizzell Sr and Inalee Clark.  Herbie had a long broken path through life, but through perseverance, he became stronger and believed in himself in order to love and live again.   For many years before his death, Herbie worked at Dorchester School District Two in Transportation and Custodial Services. During this time his co-workers became a family that he loved and adored with all his heart. He loved working around children and teasing his co-workers in order to drive them crazy (which his wife was grateful for the break).  There wasn’t a friend he didn't know or a person he wouldn’t help. He also loved motorcycles, showing his tattoos, animals (even the psycho ones) and tinkering with things.  Having a drink with Raul by the lake and eating Maritza and Joanie’s (his mother-in-law) cooking

He married the love of his life, Sherry Lynn Mizzell  on February 28, 2004 and gained a new family that he cherished until the day he died.  He leaves behind his 5 children that were his heart. His daughters, Kaitlyn (Eric) Lopez of Hialeah, FL, Jessica Bean of Kings Mountain, NC and Sierra Solders of Summerville, SC. He also leaves behind his sons Cody Solders of Summerville, SC and Dakota Solders of Conway, SC. He is preceded in death by his parents Herbert and Inalee Mizzell, his parents, his father-in-law Jack R. Solders Jr  and many other loved one.
