Obituary of Brenda Torrance

Brenda Joyce Hyman Torrance, 60, of Ladson, SC, wife of Richard Asbury Torrance, passed away Saturday, December 22, 2012. Brenda was born on March 16, 1952 in Florence, SC to the late Sumter Hoyt Hyman, Jr and late Betty Miles Hyman. Brenda was a homemaker and a member of Saint Lukes Lutheran Church. She is survived by her two daughters, Laurie Michelle Johnson of Summerville, SC and Lisa Torrance Carter of Summerville, SC; her brother, Thomas Hyman of Mount Pleasant, SC; her grandchildren, Alexis Katelynn, Ashley Michelle, Jacob Kegan, Nathan Reid, Grace Renea, and Ella Madelynn. Visitation will be held on Wednsday, December 26, 2012 from 6:00pm to 8:00pm at Simplicity Lowcountry Cremation & Burial Services, 7475 Peppermill Pkwy, Ste E, North Charleston, SC 29418. Funeral Service on Friday, December 28, 2012 at 11:00am at Saint Lukes Lutheran Church, 206 Central Center Ave, Summerville, SC 29483.
