Obituary of George Randall Murray

George Randall Murray of Moncks Corner, SC entered into eternal rest on Sunday, February 16, 2020.  His Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, February 20, 2020 at 4:00 p.m. at Simplicity Funeral Services on Treeland Drive in Summerville, SC.

Randall was born December 29, 1952, the son of the late George Mallard Murray and the late Doris Mamie Manning Christian.

Randall retired from the Painters and Allied Trade Local Union 1756 and worked for many years for different contractors as their Supervisor at Westvaco in North Charleston.  He enjoyed spending time with his family, listening to old music, watching old sitcoms and the news and talking about politics.  He had a great sense of humor and there was never a dull moment when you were around him. To know him was to love him. 

He is survived by his children: Lynne (Chris) Keener, John (Amy) Murray, Scott Murray, Katrina Murray, Teri Murray and Randy Murray; twenty-six grandchildren and five great grandchildren, brother Andy Murray, sister Gail Szwet, several nieces and nephews and his Aunt Cathy Mixon.  He was preceded in death by his sister Marie Murray.
