Obituary of Paul Charles Daugherty

Paul Charles Daugherty entered into rest March 1, 2020 in Charleston, SC after a brief illness. He was the beloved husband of Carol L Daugherty, father of Casey Daugherty and Ryan Daugherty. 

He was a veteran of the US Navy, graduate of Penn State University with a degree in Electrical Engineering, and retired from US Dept. of Energy after working many years in the Nuclear Power field. 

He was born in St Marys, Ohio on April 30, 1956 to John P and Anne M Daugherty. In addition to his wife and sons, he is survived by brothers John Daugherty, Thomas Daugherty, Robert Daugherty, David Daugherty, and Joseph Daugherty, as well as many nieces, nephews, and cousins. 

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister, Carol Daugherty Kubilis. 

A memorial service will be held Friday, March 6, 2020 at Simplicity Lowcountry Cremation and Burial Services, 7475 Peppermill Parkway, North Charleston, SC at 2pm. 

A celebration of life will also be held in Scranton, PA at a later date where Paul will be remembered for his crazy sense of humor and his love for flip flops, classic rock, and a good steak on the barbie.
