Obituary of Michael Rasnak

Michael J Rasnak, 70 of Wadmalaw Island, SC entered into eternal rest on Thursday, February 27, 2020.

Michael is survived by his wife Carolyn of 39 years, daughter Kimberly Zaayer (Brian) of Worthington, OH, son Stephen Rasnak of West Ashley, SC, and his two grandsons Xander (5) and Jaxon (2) Zaayer.

Michael was reseeded in death by his parents Benedict and Mary Rasnak and his infant brother Joseph.

Mike’s career moved him around the United Stated, Chicago, IL; Minneapolis, MN; Columbus, OH and Charleston, SC.  He owned his own Pharmacy until sold it and started work for K-Mart as a pharmacist, after a while he was promoted to District Manager.  He continued his career with Super America & Speedway as Vice President of the Southern Division until he retired. After a short time he became board and proceeded to do consulting for Family Express in the Marketing Department. He finished his career as a Senior Executive Recruiter with Executive Leadership Solutions.

His biggest enjoyments were Flying, Sailing, spending time with his family and Gardening of which he had a green thumb.

A gathering will be held at the families’ home on April 18, 2020 which will be a time to remember all the good times and stories we adventured with him through the years.

All memorial contributions will be donated in Mike’s name to UPMC Liver Cancer Center Research Fund.
