Obituary of William Royce Altman

Altman, William Royce. BERKELEY COUNTY, SC. Royce Altman, 33, passed away Sunday, October 21, 2012. Born in Charleston, SC, he was the son of Billy Altman and Doreen Baker. Royce was a loving son, brother, and friend who will be dearly missed by all who knew him. He was an avid reader and lover of cuisine, science, and Folly Beach. Royce is survived by: his father, Billy Altman; his mother and stepfather, Doreen and Patrick Baker; his sisters, Amanda Baker and Molly Baker; his stepbrother, Jerry Mallard; his maternal grandmother, Josie Demarest; his paternal grandmother, Delores Altman; and many aunts, uncles, and cousins. Arrangements have been made with Simplicity Lowcountry Cremation & Burial Services. A Celebration of Life ceremony will be held on Folly Beach at a later date.
