Obituary of Hiram Hodge

Hiram, 82 was born September 19, 1937 in Awendaw, South Carolina a son of Fred Hodge Sr. and Annie Lee Caddell. He was schooled in Awendaw elementary and McClellanville high school. Hiram worked as a drywall contractor for 37 years. After getting older he worked as a security guard for various companies.

He was married to Joyce Legare for 55 years where they resided in Goose Creek and raised five children Britton E Nelson jr. (deceased), Rachael Curry of Ladson, Victoria Rentz (John) and Richard Nelson (Patti) of Goose Creek and Joyce Nelson of Jedburg. He has 15 grandchildren 29 great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. He was pre deceased by two brothers Arthur and Carl Hodge and one sister Geneva Hodge. He leaves behind a brother Fred Hodge Jr. of St. George.
