Obituary of Michael Wilson

Michael Leon Wilson passed away peacefully at home on March 5, 2020 with family by his side.

He was born in Charleston, SC on August 24, 1955 to Milton Leon Wilson and Laura Cribbs Wilson. He was a master interior trim carpenter. He retired from Lee Builders on Johns Island where he worked for 25 years.

Michael enjoyed being on his boat fishing with family and friends. He was an excellent cook, devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, and uncle.

He is survived by his wife Robin Baize Wilson of 45 years. He leaves behind his children, grandchildren, great children, sisters, nieces, nephews, and sister-in-laws.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, March 21, 2020, 12:30 pm, at 3462 Maybank Hwy. Johns Island, SC 29455. Please join the family for a celebration of Michael’s life immediately following the service.
