Obituary of Kathleen T. Knipe

Kathleen Truesdale Knipe of Summerville, SC died Wednesday, August 15, 2012. She is survived by a daughter Kathleen (Kay) Von Dohlen of Summerville, one sister Elizabeth L. Skinner of Columbia, one brother Edward L. Truesdale of Clemson, eight grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren. She was born November 1, 1920 in Bethune, SC, the daughter of John L. Truesdale and Ada Gertrude McLeod. She was retired from Cummins Engine Co. of Charleston. She was predeceased by one son, Arthur Louis Nesbitt. A visitation will be held on Saturday, August 18, 2012 from 9:30AM to 11:00AM followed by the funeral service at 11:00AM at Carnes Crossroads Church of God, 1341 State Road, Summerville, SC 29483 with Rev. Benny Williams officiating. Burial will be at Cedar Creek Baptist Church cemetery, 2980 Camden Highway, Bishopville, SC. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, 5900 Core Road, Suite 504 North Charleston, SC 29406. Arrangements are by Simplicity Lowcountry Cremation & Burial Services
