Obituary of James A. Riley

James (Jim) A. Riley of Moncks Corner, SC died at his residence August 12, 2012 after an extended illness. Jim was born December 18, 1939 in Platt County, IL. Jim was a retired commercial roofer. He enjoyed his golf, fishing and bowling. He is survived by his wife of 51 years Mary, two (2) daughters Cindy Ternay (Bryan) of Las Vegas, NV. Jayne Henerey (Butch) of Moncks Corner, SC, six (6) sisters, Zella Maccartney of Ovieda, FL, Ruby Seiler of Effingham, IL, Linda Cramer of Urbana IL, Carolyn Odle of Mahomet, IL, Pat Grauer of Franklin, KY, Kaye Smith of Urbana, IL. Two (2) brothers Richard Riley of Jacksonville FL, David Riley of Freeport ILL. Six (6) grandchildren, Ashley Henerey, Moncks Corner, SC, SGT Mitchell Ternay, Ft. Lewis, WA, Harley Dunton, Roy, Utah, Alyssa Ternay, Las Vegas, NV, Mike Henerey (Tammy) Hanahan, SC, Lori Miller (Andrew) Summerville, SC. Also survived by his special brother and sister in law Ray and Margie Smith, and two (2) great grandchildren Caroline Henerey and Connor Henerey. He was preceded by three (3) brothers, Harold, John, and Larry. A memorial service will be at Smyrna United Church 724 Cypress Garden Rd. Moncks Corner at 1:30 Wednesday August 15. The family will receive friends an hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to the Hospice of Charleston 4975 Lacross Rd Suite 200 North Charleston, SC 29406 or the Sumter Free Clinic 1083 Hwy 35 Saint Stephen, SC 29479.
