Obituary of Mary Frances Harrelson Horres

Mary Frances Harrelson Horres, 77, of Charleston, wife of Henry Horres, Jr. entered into eternal life Monday morning April 9, 2012 at Hospice of Charleston. Mary was born March 20, 1935 in Mullins, SC, a daughter of Arthur Blake and Clara Odell Harrelson. Mary was a devoted wife and mother and being with her children and grandchildren brought her great happiness. She was involved in many community activities and was an avid fisherwoman. Surviving are, her husband Henry Horres, Jr., son Henry (Trey) Horres, III of Charleston, daughter Trish McKie (Charles) of Hoover, Al, and daughter Linda Arthur (Tait) of Charleston; also three granddaughters Chelsea, Conner, and Carson McKie, and one grandson TJ Arthur. Two sisters Mollie H. Melton (Rev. Gerald) of Stuart, VA and Catherine H. Price (William) of Lexington, One brother Arthur Blake Harrelson (Glenda) of Mullins. Mrs. Horres was predeceased by one brother Marvin Harrelson. A memorial service will be held Friday April, 13th, 2012 at Martin Luther Lutheran Church, 1605 Harborview Road, Charleston, SC 29412. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at the Fellowship Hall located at the Church. In lieu of flowers donations can made to Hospice of Charleston.
