Obituary of Grace C Rosenbaum

Grace Carpenter Rosenbaum, 72, Summerville, South Carolina died Sunday, April 8, 2012 at Hospice of Charleston, in Mount Pleasant. Until retirement, Grace worked as a Medical Technologist at the Medical University of South Carolina for over 25 years. She is survived by her husband of 35 years, David Rosenbaum; her brother, Herbert Oren Carpenter of New Brighton, Pennsylvania; five children, Nancy Carrier of Jacksonville, Florida, Melinda Dodge of Los Alamitos, California, Mark, Stuart and Kim Rosenbaum of West Hartford, Connecticut; and six grandchildren, Dylan Rosenbaum, Allison, Thomas and Summer Carrier, and Lucie and Mattias Dodge. A memorial service will be held on Tuesday, May 1, at 11am, led by the Rev. David James and the Rev. Johan Dodge, at the Stallsville United Methodist Church in Summerville. Gifts honoring Grace’s valiant battle against Multiple Myeloma can be made in her name to the International Myeloma Foundation or the American Cancer Society.
