Obituary of Pauline Lane Burgbacher

Pauline Lane Burgbacher was born, July 31, 1931, in Cincinnati, Ohio to Leonard and Gladys Lane. On October 31, 2017 she left this life and entered the presence of her Lord, after a long battle with Alzheimer ’s disease. She graduated at the top of her class from Deaconess School of Nursing and distinguished herself as a registered nurse for over 30 years. She married Donald Edward Burgbacher on June 20th, 1953 and was happily married until Don’s death on April 29th, 2010. Together they had three children Larry, Michael, and Susan. She and her husband were charter members of Faith Assembly of God in 1963 and faithfully served there until their retirement to Florida. In 2004, they moved to South Carolina to be closer to their children and grandchildren. Their passion was traveling the world visiting such places as Africa, Europe, Russia, China and the Holy Land, and spending time with family. She was a loving wife to Don for 57 years, and a wonderful mother and grandmother. Pauline is Predeceded by her husband Don Burgbacher, son Micheal, parents Leonard and Gladys Lane, sister Anna Tieman), and daughter-in-law Tania Burgbacher. She is survived by son Larry (Jeanne) Burgbacher, daughter Susan (Doug) Burges, seven grandchildren: Chad (Amber) Burgbacher, Jason (Jessica) Burgbacher, Lindy (Joshua) Johnson, and Michala, Misty, Macey and Maddie Burges and 8 great grandchildren. Four Brothers Leo (Sue) Lane, Robert (Shirley) Lane, Doug Lane, and Fred (Fran) Lane. Funeral Service will be held at Faith Assembly of God, Summerville, SC on Monday, Nov. 6 at 11:00 am, preceded by visitation at 10:00am. Internment will be at Dorchester Memory Garden, immediately following the service.
