Obituary of Mary Jo Schmidt

Mary Jo Schmidt, age 90, of Summerville, SC, passed away on Sunday, October 29, 2017 at Hospice of Charleston. She was born May 25, 1927 to the late Reese and Bertha (Bechtoe) Pitsinger. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gilbert C. Schmidt. She is survived by her sons, Larry (Mary) McKee, of Eaton, Ohio, and Milan (Carolyn) Schmidt, of Montgomery, MN; daughter, Nancy (Cline) Brown, of Summerville, SC; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a Christian and now rests in the arms of the Lord. Graveside services will be held Thursday November 2, 2017 at 2:00 PM at Summerville Cemetery (1330 Boone Hill Road, Summerville, SC 29483). Arrangements are being handled by Simplicity Lowcountry Cremation and Burial Services, Summerville.
