Obituary of Frank William Fisher

Frank William Fisher Jr., 73 of Charleston died on Wednesday, October 11 at his home. Mr. Fisher was born on November 21, 1943 in Charleston to the late Frank and Thelma (Koester) Fisher. He was a lifelong resident of the Charleston area. On June 20, 1970 he married the love of his life Cecilia “Anne” Powell. She survives him. Frank enjoyed life to the fullest. He enjoyed knife collecting, bird watching, camping, singing, Gamecock football and Braves baseball. He also loved listening to all types of music. His family stated that he didn’t know why people wouldn’t be playing music at all times. In addition to his wife, he is survived by one daughter Sonia (Randy) McKeithan of Apollo Beach, FL, grandchildren, William and Katherine McKeithan also of Apollo Beach, FL and many nieces , nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his brother, Allan Fisher. Visitation for Frank will take place on Saturday, October 14 from 11:00AM – 12:00noon at Ashley River Baptist Church (1101 Savannah Highway, Charleston SC 29407). Funeral Services celebrating his life will follow at 12noon. Interment will take place immediately following the services at Live Oak Cemetery (3093 Ashley River Rd. Charleston SC 29414). Those who wish may make memorial contributions to St. Jude Children’s Hospital or Ashely River Baptist Church.
