Obituary of Brianna Lynn Beland

Brianna Lynn Beland, 31, entered the church triumphant on August 19, 2017. She graduated from Ferndale High School and was an internship away from obtaining an Associates Degree in Paralegal Applied Science. She worked for Charleston’s Best Cleaning Services, working on vacation rentals. We will miss her love of people, compassionate nature, comedic sense of humor and most of all the light and energy she brought into every room. She is preceded in death on June 19, 2017, by Timmy Newsome, her life mate and father of their daughter; and her paternal grandfather, Wayne Beland of Leominster, MA. Surviving are her daughter, Harmony Lynn Newsome; mother, Katherine Hayes of Springfield, MO; brother, Todd Beland of Wadmalaw, SC; grandparents Art and Odete Hayes of Port St. Lucie, FL; her father, Kevin Beland of NC; grandparent Barbara Beland of Leominster, MA; as well as many cousins and friends that she loved dearly. In lieu of flowers you may make a memorial contribution to: Messiah Lutheran Church, 1106 Yeaman’s Hall Rd., Hanahan, SC 29410; Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 815 Farm Rd. 182, Springfield, MO 65810; or to a college fund for Harmony which is currently being created. A Celebration of Life service will be held at Messiah Lutheran Church on Saturday, August 26, at 10 AM. Visitation will be at 9 AM, also at Messiah.
