Simplicity Lowcountry Cremation 7475 Peppermill Parkway North Charleston, SC 29418 Obituary for Angel Marcella Chapman Angel Marcella Chapman, 14, of Summerville, South Carolina passed away June 24, 2017 at MUSC Charleston, South Carolina. She was born on September 27, 2002 in Richmond, Virginia to her mother, Ashleigh Roberts. A gifted child, Angel was full of life and positive thinking. She enjoyed all kinds of arts and was very creative with many mediums. Angel had a strong tie to her family and enjoyed all the times that they could be together. She loved her God, and showed people every day the strength and courage that only comes from Heaven. Angel was a true miracle. She defied medical science and as a warrior, battled cancer furiously for 12 long years. Angel did not let a day go by that she did not share her love of people to those she cared for most. She will be truly missed by those she loved and those that loved her and will live forever more in their hearts. Angel is survived by her Mom, Ashleigh Roberts, and her sisters: Rosalyn Suarez, Kylie Suarez. She was preceded in death by her grandparents: Paul Steven Roberts, Cecelia Stanley, Carrie Lee Smith, and her Great Aunt, Hallie Clark and her great grandmother, Sara Clark. A private family celebration of the wonderful life of Angel was held in the home.
