Obituary of Anne Marie Peters

Anne Marie ( L’Ecuyer) Peters , 74, passed away peacefully in her home in the loving care of her family the morning of July 10, 2017. A funeral and celebration of her life will be scheduled at Saint Francis Church in Winooski, Vermont at a later date. Anne attended Saint Francis School and Winooski High School. She fell in love with her beloved husband of 54 years as a teenager and never stopped loving him. They supported each other as best friends and never swayed from their constant love and desire for each other. They owned many businesses together and always had new adventures in life together. They will be forever married. Anne was selfless in caring for her grandchildren, Tristian and Aidan helping to raise them to be amazing human beings. Anne was kind, gentle and highly motivated to create a beautiful life for her husband, Bill and two children, Elise and Shawn. She especially loved shopping, fun trips and long conversations with her sister and best friend Claire Manahan. Those greeting her in Heaven are her parents, Armand and Jeannette L’Ecuyer and her grandchild Timothy, her nephew Rick Manahan and many others welcoming her with open arms. She is survived by her husband Bill, sister Claire Manahan, brothers Rick and Ronald L’Ecuyer, her daughter, Elise of Florida and son, Shawn of South Carolina, her grandchildren Tristian and Aidan and many nieces and nephews she cherished as her own. Anne’s family is grateful to all the wonderful Hospice caregivers who supported the family with compassion. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
