Obituary of Thomas Nichols

Thomas Andrew Nichols Jr., 52, of Summerville, South Carolina passed away June 28, 2017. Born August 11, 1964 in Hinton, West Virginia. He was the son of the late Thomas and Margaret “Sissy” Nichols. Tom was employed by Penford / Carolina Starches for 18 years where he served as Plant Manager. He was Vice President of the Hedgesville High School Class of 1982 and a Multi Sport Letterman in Baseball, Basketball, Football, Golf and Track. In addition he was a Martinsburg Little League All-Star representing the area on many District and State Championship Teams. He was a member of Northwood Church, Summerville, South Carolina. He is survived by his wife, Pamela Smith Nichols; his son Elijah Nichols and Fiancé Shelby Colson of Beckley, West Virginia; one brother Michael Nichols and wife Jada Nichols of Hedgesville, West Virginia; and one nephew Michael Nichols of Hedgesville, West Virginia. Family and friends will be received on Friday, July 14, 2017 from 10:30-11:00 at Cooks Chapel Baptist Church in Pipestem, West Virginia. A Memorial Service will follow beginning at 11:00.
