Obituary of Linda Ruth Ray

Linda Ruth Ray, 73, of Summerville, South Carolina passed away May 9, 2017 at Trident Medical Center, North Charleston, South Carolina. She was born on August 10, 1943 in Deport, Texas to the late Larry and Virginia (DeShong )Bell. She was a huge Elvis Presley fan, enjoyed amusement parks, traveling to the mountains and spending time with her family. She was married to her husband for 60 years and together they raised five daughters. She loved the Lord and always placed her faith and trust in Him. Linda is survived by: Spouse: Larry H. Ray. Daughters: Teri Creamer and husband, Waymon of Paris, TX, Kathy Ballard and husband, Larry of Reno, TX; Tracy Ray of Summerville, SC; Kristin Carsner and husband Clay of Paris, TX and Jamie Ray and wife Amy of North Charleston, SC. Grandchildren: Cameron Creamer and wife Maranda of Austin, TX; Tyler Creamer and wife Britany of Sumner, TX; Daniel Lawrence and wife Janelle of Lufkin, TX; Tarayn Ray and fiancée Patrick Hamm of Summerville, SC; Zachary Akers of Burlington, IA; Christopher Horton of Denton, TX; Brenton Ray of Paris, TX, Taylor Pentecost of Paris, TX; Raylee Carsner of Paris, TX; Jackson Ray of North Charleston, SC; and Ayden Ray of North Charleston, SC. Great Grandchildren: Avery and Easton Creamer of Paris, TX. Sister: Ann Thompson and husband Sonny of Blossom, TX. Brothers: David Bell and wife Denise of Paris, TX; and Michael Bell and partner Bob Stacks of Dallas, TX. She was preceded in death by: her parents Larry and Virginia Bell of Paris, TX.
