Obituary of Audreyette Norton Firetag
Audreyette Norton Firetag passed away on April 20, 2020 from multiple medical comorbidities. Audreyette’s tremendous strength and perseverance is unparalleled as she was a warrior during her last six months. With her true love Phil Firetag passing away 5.5 years ago, Mr & Mrs. Firetag are now resting together enjoying sensational sunsets.
Audreyette was a classy and sophisticated lady who enjoyed world traveling with her late husband to over 3 continents, while remembering those less fortunate and donating to various charities. She was always caring, thoughtful with unbound benevolence towards friends and family. Her beautiful granddaughters brought her much happiness, as well as, her Boston Terriers & her daughter’s Chihuahua. She is survived by her mother Edith Norton of Hanahan and her older daughter Renee Phillips of Summerville; her younger daughter Noelle Phillips of Merritt Island, FL and her son-in-law Abdul Elmoutaouakil; her grandchildren: Aasiyah & Juwairyah Phillips-Elmoutaouakil; her Aunt: Dolly Huss and her son Summie; her Aunt Margie Hartsell and her sons: David & Bruce; her brother and sister-in-law Richard & Cindy Norton of Eutawville and Mrs. Firetag's nephews Doug & Jason Norton; her brother-in-law & sister-in-law: Gerald & Susan Firetag and their children: Heidi, Laura & Aaron Firetag; her brother in law: Ronnie & Martha and children Brandie & Adam Firetag; her brother in law: Max Fireta; her extended family and best friend Margo and the Fox Family of Montana & FL, as well as Tess Mandeville & Lisa Hazeen of Washington State. We would like to extend sincere gratitude to the members of Portside Baptist Church of Hanahan for their steadfast outpouring of prayers during this difficult time. Audreyette's generosity and legacy will live on.
