Obituary of Barbara Lee

Barbara Ann Lee was a devoted wife, wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was born in Troy, Alabama on August 19,1949 to the late Jim and Emma Howard.  She graduated from Bond-Wilson High School in 1968. Where, she met her husband, Hurddie Lee, they were join in holy matrimony in 1969, from that union they bore: Consuella Dingle(Corey T.), Emma(Darien) Tartt,  Ami(Lawrence)Zanders, and Clifton Carter.    

Barbara was raised in the Hunley Park neighborhood, then later move to Murray Hill, where she was well-known and loved throughout the community. Barbara served as a nurse helping others at Roper Hospital for 30 years.  Barbara was proceeded in death by her husband, Hurddie Lee, mother Emma Howard and her father, Jim Howard;  Also, her brother, James Howard. Brother-in law Willie Lee and her son-in-law the late Minsiter Bautista Williams.

Barbara left behind to cherish her memories her children Consuella(Corey),Emma (Darien),Ami(Lawrence) and Clifton.   Her grandchildren DeAndre(Sarah), Disiree ,Joy(Steven) ,Denesha Brean, Dion(Shanice) ,Dillon ,Destini, DeAnna ,Emily and 13 great-grandchildren and her beloved siblings: Alfred(Faith) Howard, Mary(Bernard)Mizzell, Willie Howard( Pat) (Carolyn)( Minnie), Theodore Howard(William), Charles Howard(Lyn-Marie), Hiawatha(Dee Dee), Dorothy Harris(T.D), Katherine Johnson(Leon), and James D. Howard(Glen O.). Also and Adopted brother in Christ Minister Richard Johnson(Kamili).
