Obituary of Richard Russell Bawsel

Richard Russell Bawsel, 85, of N.Charleston, SC, husband of Mary Bawsel, passed away on June 20, 2020 at his home. Funeral arrangements are being handled by Simplicity: Lowcountry Cremation and Burial Services, Ladson Chapel.

Richard was born Oct. 8,1934, in Richmond, VA.

He is survived by his son, Richard; Daughter, Denise; 10 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his youngest daughter, Michelle, who passed away in 2004.

Richard was known for his quick wit, charm, and above all for being a loving family man. Richard was a lighthouse to his family; if you ever felt lost you’d see his light brining you home.
