Obituary of Michael Deas

Michael L. Deas (aka) Mike, son of the late David L. Deas and Joyce Driggers Deas was born July 8, 1960 and departed this life on Sunday August 23,2020 at Summerville Community Hospice House.

Mike was educated in the Berkeley County Schools. He was a poet, he loved the outdoors, and working on crossword puzzles.  He worked as a roofer and a handyman.  Mike was kindhearted and would give you the shirt off his back.  Mike was a long-standing member at Salem Baptist Church where he helped out at the food bank and also help with the upkeep of the lawn.

He was preceded in death by his youngest sister Michelle Reed.  Mike leaves behind to cherish his memories two sisters, Brenda D. Gordon of Irmo, SC, Belinda Burckhalter (Wayne) of manning, SC; one brother John Deas (Tammy) of Duncan, SC, and his longtime friend and ex-wife Ann Bentley, fourteen nephews and three nieces.
