Obituary of Vickie Steerman Dorn

Vickie Steerman Dorn, age 56, of Goose Creek, SC passed away on Sunday, February 26, 2017. Vickie was born in Charleston, SC on June 19, 1960. She is the daughter of Herbert and Margie Steerman of Goose Creek, SC. Vickie worked for many years as a Medical Assistant at her late husband’s Family Practice. She has since been a loving caregiver to her two parents. Vickie is survived by her father, Herbert Steerman Sr; her mother, Margie Steerman; her two children, Emily Dorn and Mixon Criddle; and a brother Herbert Steerman Jr. She leaves behind many loving cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends. Vickie is preceded in death by her late husband M. Douglas Dorn, Jr, M.D. A memorial service will be held Thursday afternoon, March 2, 2017 at two o’clock at Carnes Crossroads Church of God in Summerville, SC.
