Obituary of Faye Pool
Faye Pool 75, of Goose Creek, passed away on September 25th in her home in Goose Creek.
Memorial Services will be 11AM Tuesday September 29th at St. James United Methodist Church, 512 St. James Ave. Goose Creek SC, 29445
Faye was born in Charleston SC to Kenneth and Mildred Phillips on January 12th , 1945. She went to school in Charleston and graduated from Murray Vocational. She married a Sailor, Ronald K. Pool (originally from Texas) in the Navy Hospital Chapel on the Charleston Navy Base. She graduated from Cerro Coso Community College in China Lake California. She worked as an Engineering Draftsperson at the Naval Shipyard for several years. She was also Activities Director at a home for Seniors while living in Sana Angelo, Texas. Faye was also a Realtor in Charleston South Carolina and was an active agent for 30 years until retiring from Carolina One Real Estate. Her office was at Metro North in Crowfield, Goose Creek.
She was actively involved in both her son’s PTA clubs, Beta Sigma Phi, The Benevolent Patriotic Order of Does (The Elks), The China Lake California Artists Guild, the San Angelo Texas Artist Society and the Goose Creek Artist Guild. She received multiple awards and prizes for her artwork throughout the years.

Faye is preceded in death by her husband Ron Pool and her nephew Brad-Lee Herian 4 months to the day.
Faye is survived by her Sister, Annette Malchiodi and her husband Ken Malchiodi, Faye’s 2 sons, Michael Pool, Kevin Pool and his wife Susan Pool with their son Keaton Pool.
