Obituary of Greta Foskey

Greta Foskey, 80, of Moncks Corner, passed away Sunday, May 6, 2018, at her home with her family by her side.

A memorial service will be held June 2, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at Wassamassaw Baptist Church.  Upon her request, at 6:00 p.m., her ashes will be released at Rockspond Campground in Eutawville, South Carolina.

Mrs. Foskey was born September 7, 1937 in Wadley, Georgia.  Daughter of the late Emma Lee (Schwalls) and E.W. Greenway.  She moved to Charleston, South Carolina in 1960.

Mrs. Foskey worked as a Cafeteria Manager for the Charleston County School District for over 38 years.  She enjoyed going to Rockspond Campground, reading, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her son, Sanford W. Foskey (John Pennsy) of Pooler, Ga; her daughter Cheyrl Henning (Mark) of Moncks Corner, SC; two grandsons, Tevin and Kris Henning; and four furbabies, Coco Henning, Jackson Foskey-Pennsy, Quincy Foskey-Pennsy, and Gretel Henning. She was preceded in death by her brother Sammy Greenway (Nancy Smith) and survived by her brother Jerry Greenway (Maria)
