Obituary of Candace Eggleston Reeves

Candace “Candy” Eggleston Reeves, 65, of Hollywood, SC, went home to be with her Savior, November 26, 2020.

She was born November 9, 1955 in Goodrich, Michigan, the daughter of late Lewis Watson “Buzz” Eggleston Jr. and Juanita May Pearman, who survives. She leaves behind a loving husband, John F. Reeves who she was married to for 42 years; daughter, Lisa Nicole Olsen and son in law, Shane Calvin Olsen; her greatest blessings, her 3 grandchildren, Alivia Faith Olsen, Chase Matthew Olsen, and Monte Elijah Olsen of Beaufort, SC; sister, Angela Nicole Hollister and brother in law, John David Hollister of Greer, SC.

Candy was full of life and spunk and always making someone laugh. She had many accomplishments in her life as a business owner, Sunday school teacher, working in schools, serving at nursing homes, and of course a friend, wife, mom, daughter, niece, sister, and nana.  Candy will always be remembered as someone who loved her family fiercely.  As her health declined the last several years she never stopped finding ways to make sure they knew that she loved them and till the very end she would write to Jesus that she would gladly stay until He is finished with her on this earth. Her prayer was for everyone to know Jesus and His redeeming love the way she did. If you don’t know Jesus as your Savior like Candy did she would want to invite you to ask Jesus into your life by simply praying this prayer.  Lord Jesus, I know I have sinned against you. I come to you today with a repentant heart asking you to forgive my sins.  I believe you are the Son of God.  You came to earth and chose to die on the cross for me, and then rose again so that I could have eternal life.  Beginning today, I surrender my life to you.  In Jesus name. Amen.
